Where's Lissy

Hi everyone, well yes it has been a very long time since you heard from me. But there is good reason for this!!! I've been busy working on some beautiful bouquets for one of Lissylane's American Brides: Colleen. Needless to say I give all my brides my full attention therefore I haven't been able to add any new articles to the website, so my apologies for that. I do however endeavour to be back into the full swing of things in the New Year.

For Colleen's upcoming wedding on August 14, 2010 she will have five bridesmaids all wearing stunning Clover green gowns. She fell in love with the lissylane felt and button flower wedding bouquets and has asked me to make her and her bridesmaids some stunning bouquets for her wedding day.

The brides bouquet features a variety of felt flowers in shades of pink with white and cream, individually hand stitched. To set of this beautiful colour combination, some stunning buttons have been used to add a true sense of style. The bouquet is finished by wrapping the stems in a pale pink satin ribbon and secured with pearl floral pins.

The five bridesmaids bouquets are made up of 10 felt flowers compared with the bridal bouquet of 20 flowers. The bridesmaids bouquets are of similar colours, although only feature one pink combined again with the white and cream felts. All bouquets are of course hand stitched and include olive green leaves, with the bridesmaids bouquets finished in a pretty green satin ribbon to match their gorgeous dresses.
