Cost of Flowers

The first thing that comes to mind is the cost of real flowers compared with felt flowers and that buying real flowers is like throwing your money away. We all know that wedding budgets are very much a necessity for planning a wedding and can often be blown out no matter how hard we try. Planning a wedding is expensive business and like many brides understand, I also know all too well that suppliers try to take advantage of this. Flowers can be extremely over priced. Just like buying roses for Valentine's Day as soon as the word "Wedding" is mentioned, the price takes a sudden leap in an upward direction.

Real Flowers Do Not Last Forever

Unfortunately, at the end of the day real flowers will always be thrown out by the time you return from your honeymoon. I can't think of anything worse than knowing that hundreds and hundreds (often thousands) of dollars were spent on flowers for the wedding to have nothing more than the photos from the day left to show for your money. Now before you say it, yes, you could have your bouquet dried and framed, but the truth is they will be discoloured and never look 100% the same as the wedding day.

Everlasting Memory of Your Wedding Day

Heirloom for the Bride

Felt flowers are the ultimate heirloom, they will not loose that wonderful colour and quality and therefore yes, you can have them framed or placed in a vase as an everlasting memory of your special day. I know for myself that it was a wonderful feeling to see my bouquet when we returned from our honeymoon, sitting there in all its glory, looking as good as ever.

Keepsake for Everyone

Although we like to believe it, it's not just about the bride! All of the felt & button products such as corsage pins or button boutonnieres worn on the wedding day are a nice little keepsake for all involved.
