Real Flowers Wilt

Something else that concerns brides is the wilting of real flowers on the wedding day. This is even more-so for Australian brides and especially for those having an outdoor wedding. Living at the Gold Coast it was a major worry for me, despite having an indoor wedding.

I know predicting the weather on your wedding day is like relying on a fortune cookie for love advice! Without wanting to sound like Forest Gump... you never know what you're going to get. But I can tell you I'm very glad I didn't have real flowers for my wedding as it was a stinking hot day and with the amount of layers I had on was bad enough without the stress of wilty flowers to.

Ready in Advance for Your Wedding

Another benefit to felt & button flowers and boutonnieres which I was ever thankful for was that I had them prepared well in advance. This meant there was no running to the florist prior and keeping them in water on the wedding day... one less thing to worry about. There is far too much to think about and organise without adding the stress of real flowers.

Silk Flowers vs Felt Flowers
