Now of course there is the bridal bouquet, these are generally made with at least 15 felt and button flowers up to 25 felt flowers. The amount of flowers used determines the overall size of the bouquet and really is a personal choice as to how many the bride would like. What you have to remember when deciding on the size of a bouquet is that felt leaves are added to the outside which also adds size to the overall finished product. This is why if you are working to a budget a 15 felt flower bouquet can be used for a bride, as the felt leaves add enough body to make the overall size completely acceptable and not out of proportion. Special Embelishments

Other additions can be included in all wedding bouquets, as mentioned before: materials such as tulle, ribbon, lace etc. This can either be by adding the embelishments to the felt flower itself or as part of the bouquet on their own. Feathers, crystal stems and button stem flowers are an example of adding alternative items independently of the felt flowers to make a very custom designed wedding bouquet. Additional ribbons can be added, just let your imagination run wild. If the materials are available then add anything you might like to make your day your way.

Bridesmaids bouquets can also be made and are usually made with 15 felt flowers, but again you decide how large or small you would like the bouquet. All options available to brides are also available for bridesmaids bouquets. All felt flowers are arranged and the stems wrapped in satin ribbon, secured with coloured floral pins. All of these materials can be found at craft stores. 

Themed Bouquets

Bouquets don't just have to be for weddings, themed felt flower and button bouquets can be made for special events. If there is a special someone in your life that is expecting, try your hand at making a "Boy" or "Girl" themed felt flower bouquet as either a baby shower gift or for after the birth.
